Urgent Care LPN

Location: Mount Pleasant, SC 29464 (On-site / patient-facing)
Type: W2, Temporary/Contract

Pay: $37.17 per hour
Hours: Part-time — 30 hours/week (clinic hours; includes every other weekend and some major holidays)
Interview: Required

What you’ll do

• Assess patient needs and perform routine health assessments
• Administer medications (oral/injectable/IV/topical) as appropriate
• Perform phlebotomy , vaccine administration , and point-of-care testing
• Monitor vital signs, identify abnormalities, and document treatment responses
• Conduct medication reviews to identify potential side effects and drug interactions
• Document patient histories and care accurately in an EMR (Epic preferred)
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Keep the clinic organized, stocked, and clean

Required qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LVN/LPN license (must be in good standing; compact licenses must be issued in primary state of residence)
• BLS certification (expiration must be at least 30 days past the start date)
• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ year related healthcare experience
• Primary Care, Urgent Care, or ER experience required
• • Do not apply if your background is limited to LTC/nursing homes, home health, LTAC, or SNF only
• Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic preferred)

Schedule details (important)

• Schedules are created in 6-week blocks after 3 weeks of training/orientation
• Shifts are typically 7–10 hours during clinic operating hours
• Typical week: 2–3 weekdays + every other weekend
• Some major holidays required
