Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities in a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and/or restricted spaces to help to deter theft, trespassing, and/or other policy violations while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support closing, opening, and/or after-hours activities by observing site conditions, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and/or following post orders for key control and access procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
