The assignment will involve a 12‑hour night shift at an acute care unit with a 6:1 patient ratio. Key responsibilities include medical patient care, administering drip lines such as heparin, and attending post‑operative radial cardiac cath cases. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care for medical patients on the unit. Prepare and administer medication drips (e.g., heparin) and other IV medications. Assist with postoperative radial cardiac cath patients. Maintain accurate nursing documentation in EMR Meditech. Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary team on a 6:1 patient ratio. Qualifications BLS certification required; ACLS preferred. Minimum of 1 year current Med/Surg acute care experience. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
