Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required (Days: Saturday-Sunday; Nights: Friday-Saturday), holidays rotate with permanent staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert care to mothers and babies in our vibrant Birthing Center
• Independently attend deliveries and circulate during C-sections with confidence
• Assist with catching and transitioning newborns while ensuring their safety
• Titrate critical drips including Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin
• Support high-risk patients including those with preeclampsia, diabetes, and substance use concerns
• Collaborate with our 24/7 OB team and anesthesia providers for seamless care
• Function across Labor & Delivery and Postpartum with routine mom-baby competencies

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Washington
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
• Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience (1 year considered with multiple prior travel assignments)
• Comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating C-sections
• No first-time travelers

Knowledge & Skills

• LDRP expertise with ability to handle 33 weeks and above
• Strong assessment skills for high-risk obstetric patients
• Proficient with Centricity Perinatal EFM system
• Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips
• Experience with Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin titration
• Adaptable to unit workflows and open to constructive feedback
