Human Resources Manager

Overview The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing and administering human resources programs, policies, and procedures to support organizational goals and foster a positive employee experience. This role serves as a strategic partner to leadership and employees, managing key HR functions including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, compliance, compensation, benefits, training, and employee engagement. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day human resources operations and employee support activities. Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and workplace matters. Lead recruitment and onboarding efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and new hire orientation. Administer employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, investigations, disciplinary actions, and performance concerns. Support and manage performance management processes, employee development plans, and succession planning initiatives. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook updates. Coordinate employee benefits administration and partner with vendors to address employee questions and concerns. Analyze compensation and workforce data to support business decisions and employee retention strategies. Facilitate employee engagement, recognition, and wellness programs. Assist with training and development initiatives to enhance employee and leadership skills. Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data. Support organizational change initiatives and workforce planning efforts. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Experience 3-5+ years of progressive human resources experience. Prior experience in employee relations, recruiting, and HR compliance required. Previous leadership or management experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systems (HRIS). Preferred Certifications SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
