Contract to hire for Acclivity Healthcare in Prescott, Arizona, United States.

Compensation and Schedule: Full-time, onsite, $23 per hour, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Join a relaxed environment with opportunities for growth!

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ years of recent medical assistant experience required
• 3+ years of recent medical assistant experience preferred
• Medical assistant diploma or certification required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Responsibilities:

• Room patients
• Obtain vitals and review patient history
• Prepare and clean room for patient
• Prepare patient for the physician
• Perform a variety of office-based testing and treatments related to patient care under the supervision of clinician care
• Coordinate and manage patient care including pre-certifications, referrals, authorizations, prescriptions, and scheduling for clinic, hospital, and other ancillary medical treatments and tests
