2nd Shift Supervisor

Supervisor for NKP Logistics at Anna Engine Plant. Duties include supervising and coordinating logistics associates with tasks such as data entry, customer contact, picking, packing, loading, unloading, inspection, storing, and shipment of products. Inventory control and scheduling responsibilities are also required. Must be able to work overtime and attend outside classes to upgrade supervisory skills. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications include:

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong data entry, personal computer, and clerical skills.
• Good communicator, dependable, and maintain accurate filing system.
• Strong supervisory background.
• Attention to fine details and inventory control experience.
• People oriented with ability to supervise and coordinate work of others.
• Flexible and good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Willingness to assist General Associates in completing all work requirements.
• Willingness to learn to perform Tow Buggy and Forklift operations (training available).

Physical requirements include:

• Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle items and or feel.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently need to stoop, kneel or crouch.
• Regularly lift and or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally move 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Receives, stores, packages and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products.
• Must be team oriented as well as self-motivated and self-sufficient.
• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence.
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
• Marks materials with identifying information.
• Opens bales, crates, and other containers.
• Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Arranges stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.

Job type: Full-time. Hours: 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM + mandatory overtime. Pay: $27.05. Work location: All duties must be performed onsite in person. All candidates must be 18 years or older.
