Location: Albany, NY Contract Type: Travel Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12 Nights Pay: $2,498.40/week Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description

ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in a high-acuity emergency department setting. This role requires strong clinical judgment, rapid assessment skills, and the ability to manage diverse emergency cases. Epic charting experience is required. A competency exam must be completed shortly after submission. Local candidates are not accepted for this assignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide rapid assessment and emergency care to patients of varying acuity
• Perform triage and prioritize patient care needs
• Administer emergency medications and treatments
• Manage trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and medical emergencies
• Initiate IV access and manage critical drips
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary emergency care teams
• Follow emergency department safety and infection control protocols
• Document all patient care in Epic EMR
• Comply with unit dress code requirements

Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• Minimum 2 years Emergency Department experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• Must complete required competency test within 24 hours of submission
• Must meet local candidate eligibility rules
• Must comply with required scrub color policy
