Field Service Technician- East of Pittsburgh, PA

Overview Location: East of Pittsburgh, PA Job Type: Full Time/Permanent Work Authorization: No sponsorship or 3rd parties The A.C.Coy Company has an immediate need for multiple Field Service Technicians for a full time role. This role will require traveling to client sites to support installation, maintenance, and repairs. Responsibilities Read and interpret schematic drawings Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues Willing to work overtime (including weekends) as needed Required to travel to perform field service assignments as directed by management Create and maintain field service reports and documentation Maintain service equipment, general housekeeping and warehouse activities including loading and offloading of material, cleaning work areas, and keeping field service equipment organized Maintain communication with customers, employees, and management. Qualifications Education: 2 year associate or a specialized degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Electrical/Mechanical Technology or 3 years' related experience working in substations or a switchgear manufacturing facility. 3 years' experience working in substations or a switchgear manufacturing facility Experience supporting, installing, commissioning, performing maintenance and repairs of MV and HV Switchgears Ability to read and interpret AC and DC schematic drawings Experience in wiring, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical Experience using cranes and forklifts Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics Mechanically inclined with the ability to use common hand tools Basic computer skills, Microsoft office products Ability to obtain a passport and be willing to travel out of country on rare occasions Be able to pass a random drug and alcohol test #J-18808-Ljbffr
