This team thrives in a fast‑paced, service‑oriented setting, making it an excellent fit for applicants who enjoy staying busy and supporting smooth pharmacy operations. **Role Summary** + As a Pharmacy Technician I, you will support prescription processing, patient assistance, and coordination with pharmacists and clinic teams to ensure safe, efficient medication access. You will play a vital role in helping patients and Penn Medicine employees receive accurate, timely prescriptions while contributing to a high‑quality care experience. **Key Responsibilities**

• Process and fill prescriptions under pharmacist direction, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Collect medication histories and assist in coordinating insurance requirements, patient payments, and benefit investigations.
• Communicate proactively with clinical teams to resolve coverage issues and support seamless medication access.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, social workers, and specialty pharmacy staff to ensure complete and accurate documentation for reimbursement.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, clinic partners, and Penn Medicine employees.
• Support all myPennPharmacy services as needed.
• Uphold Penn Medicine values, policies, and quality standards.

**Minimum Qualifications**

• High School Diploma/GED ( **Required** )
• Pharmacy Technician Certification - CPhT ( **Required** )
• Registered Pharmacy Technician (PA State Board of Pharmacy) ( **Required** )

**Preferred Experience**

• Experience working in a fast‑paced pharmacy environment (strongly preferred).
• Prior ambulatory retail or mail‑order pharmacy experience a plus.
