VIP staffing is Immediately hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist for a leading organization in Rio Rancho, NM
This is a Full Time temp to hire position with a Schedule of Monday- Thursday 6:30am - 5pm (schedule can be flexible)
Pay for this position starts at $50,000 per year DOE
As an Accounts Payable Specialist you will:
- perform a variety of accounting duties that include purchasing orders, statements and invoices to verify amounts owed to vendors.
- Prepare and process payments for vendor invoices and other financial obligations in accordance with internal accounting policies
- Respond to vendor inquires and resolve any discrepancies in billings and payments
Accounts Payable Specialists must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 1-3 years of related experience
- Some college courses preferred, but a degree is not required
- Basic knowledge of accounting practices and procedures
- Strong Computer skills and basic Clerical knowledge
- Strong Time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and plan to accomplish goals
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Strong Critical thinking skills
- Excellent customer service skills
