Step into a rewarding role supporting students across K–12 as a full-time Physical Therapist, or experienced Physical Therapist Assistant, in a vibrant district southwest of Houston. This contract position is ideal for professionals passionate about pediatric therapy and eager to collaborate within a dynamic educational team. Your home base will be the district office, but you'll drive to multiple campuses, ensuring support for a diverse student population.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Texas Physical Therapist (PT) license required
• Open to PTAs with extensive school or pediatric experience
• Prior experience with K–12 caseloads preferred
• Must pass state background check and fingerprinting
• Comfortable with Frontline and SuccessEd documentation
• District cannot consider former employees or anyone previously terminated from a school district (affidavit required)

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services for a caseload of 160 students, with 50 receiving direct services (caseload shared with another PT)
• Travel between schools throughout the district, utilizing the central office as your base
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of interventions and progress through electronic platforms
• Manage flexible work hours, starting between 7:30–8:00 am and ending at 3:30–4:00 pm, depending on school assignments
• Meet all credentialing and compliance requirements in a timely fashion
