As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Bicycle Perimeter Assessment in West Hollywood, CA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $27.00 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, residents, staff, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned public areas, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual conditions, hazards, access concerns, and policy violations, and report observations through established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, public-service calls, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Able to ride a bike.
• Preferred ability to ride a bike for long periods of time.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Preferred ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
