We respect the balance of work and leisure by offering flexible schedules and a 37.5 hour workweek.Along with our competitive salaries, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical and dental insurance, 100% matching 401k retirement plan, 100% tuition reimbursement and much, much more!Job SummaryWorking independently, Safety’s Subrogation Specialists are responsible for evaluating recovery opportunities, identifying responsible party coverage, obtaining documentation supporting liability and first-party indemnity payments, and pursuing recovery against other insurance carriers and self-insured entities.ResponsibilitiesReviews claims to determine potential for recoveryIdentifies responsible party coverageEvaluates claim liability assessments and indemnity paymentsGathers, investigates, and develops supporting documentation to secure appropriate settlementsReviews incoming settlement offersNegotiates settlements with responsible parties when appropriatePrepares files for and files arbitration when appropriateRefers appropriate files to collection attorneysDevelops and maintains documentation, including case maintenance and control over aging filesHears arbitrations as an Arbitration Forums arbiterPerforms other activities as requiredQualificationsCollege degree or commensurate insurance experience requiredThree or more years handling Massachusetts auto insurance claims preferredPrevious subrogation or collections experience preferredAbility to work independently and manage a high caseload #J-18808-Ljbffr Safety Insurance
