Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience working as an OT in school settings strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP process, developing appropriate therapy goals, and documenting progress
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Creative problem-solving abilities and adaptability in classroom environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' needs related to fine motor, sensory processing, daily living, and adaptive skills
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide direct therapy services in accordance with students’ IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to support student participation and success in school activities
• Maintain accurate records and prepare regular progress reports for case managers and parents
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing clinical expertise to educational teams
• Offer consultation and training to educators and family members to carry over strategies in educational settings
