Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist license valid for practicing within schools
• Previous experience providing OT services in an educational setting is highly valued
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and goal-driven intervention planning
• Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Solid organization and documentation skills
• Flexibility and adaptability in supporting a range of student needs and learning styles

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ motor, sensory, and functional abilities in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans that align with IEP goals and school objectives
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services in both individual and group settings
• Monitor and record student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Educate and empower teachers and parents on ways to support students’ functional participation in classroom and school activities
• Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in compliance with school and district policies
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, collaborative school culture
