Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients, determining their specific needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Create individualized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of evidence-based modalities to enhance mobility and expedite recovery.
• Maintain a manageable caseload, ensuring that each patient receives focused attention and quality care during therapy sessions.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques as well as functional exercises to promote healing and improve patient outcomes.
• Deliver non-invasive interventions and educate patients on alternative treatments to reduce reliance on medications.
• Monitor and document patient progress using EMR software, particularly Web PT, ensuring accurate and comprehensive patient records.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation process, providing encouragement and actionable feedback.
• Develop and implement wellness and fitness programs tailored to each patient's lifestyle and rehabilitation requirements.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging physical therapy research and techniques, integrating relevant practices into your treatment approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our Woodbridge outpatient clinic, you will work with a diverse patient population, including athletes recovering from injuries, elderly individuals seeking to enhance their mobility, and those suffering from chronic pain conditions. Each patient presents unique challenges that require personalized approaches, and your role will be crucial in designing effective rehab strategies that cater to their specific needs and goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of an active and valid Physical Therapist license, with no history of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Exceptional knowledge of manual therapy techniques and a strong foundation in orthopedic outpatient care.
• Strong documentation skills utilizing EMR systems, with a familiarity with Web PT being highly preferred.
• Current understanding of evidence-based physical therapy practices and rehabilitation techniques.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient settings or sports medicine is highly regarded.
• Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing successful exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Experience collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
