Project Manager

Position Overview We are hiring a Project Manager to support global transition and recommissioning projects at Ontic’s Chatsworth, CA site. The role reports to the Director of PMO and requires onsite presence in Chatsworth, California. Responsibilities Lead global transition and recommissioning projects from conception to completion using appropriate methodologies. Provide leadership, direction, and support to project teams while coaching other Project Managers. Monitor project governance, timelines, risks, and budgets, ensuring successful delivery against milestones. Lead risk and opportunity management, including mitigation strategies and escalation when needed. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define project scope, structure, and resource requirements. Oversee project documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communications, including Gate Reviews and performance updates. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree minimum. 5+ years of project management experience, ideally within aerospace or manufacturing environments. Understanding of project management methodologies. Knowledge of aerospace industry/manufacturing processes. Experience with budgeting and resource allocation procedures.
