Payroll Manager

Insight Global is looking to hire a Remote Payroll Manager. The role requires travel at least once per month. This individual will own end-to-end payroll operations for approximately 3,000 employees across 10+ states and multiple legal entities while managing a small team of analysts.The ideal candidate will have experience with multi-site management. Responsibilities include: Overseeing regular and off-cycle payrolls, maintaining payroll controls and approval processesCompleting pre-payroll reviews and variance analysisManaging multi-state tax and wage complianceReconciling payroll to the general ledgerSupporting financial, retirement plan, workers' compensation, and regulatory audits.Partner closely with Finance and HR, oversee payroll system and data integrity, support acquisition integrationsPersonally handle complex payroll issues, year-end processing, and tax matters.Requirements:8+ years of progressive payroll experience, including 3+ years supporting multi-state payroll for 2,000+ employees2+ years of direct payroll team leadership experienceExperience managing payroll internal controls, reconciliations, segregation of duties, and multi-entity payrollExperience supporting financial statement and retirement plan auditsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, xhyhwjd Business, HR, or related field, or Associate's degree with equivalent payroll experiencePreferred / Nice to Have Skills:Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification or eligibility to obtain within 18 monthsExperience integrating payroll for acquisitions or new legal entitiesPayroll/HCM system implementation or conversion experienceExperience with Form 5500 auditsExperience supporting payroll environments with multiple FEINs Insight Global
