Location: Waimea, Hawaii

Pay Rate: $80/hr

Contract: 13 weeks

Schedule: Flexible rotating day/night shifts; weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage required

Experience: Minimum 3 years required

About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week quick-start contract opportunity in Waimea, Hawaii. This role supports a rural hospital setting and requires full competency in General, Vascular, and Echocardiography studies, along with the ability to work independently across multiple facility locations.


Responsibilities
• Perform General, Vascular, and Echocardiography ultrasound studies
• Operate independently in a rural hospital environment with strong technical accuracy
• Document imaging exams accurately using Cerner
• Support patient safety, image quality, and timely completion of diagnostic studies
• Work at both KVMH and SMMH as needed, including on-call coverage


Requirements
• ARDMS Certification In General, Vascular, And Echocardiography Required
• BLS/BCLS Certification Required
• Minimum 3 years of ultrasound experience required
• Must be competent in General, Vascular, and Echo modalities
• Must be flexible for rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, holidays, on-call coverage, and reside within 20 minutes of the hospital while on call
