You'll complete repairs, prepare apartment homes for new residents, and ensure the property remains safe, functional, and visually appealing.This role combines hands-on technical work, problem solving, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Preventative & Routine MaintenancePerform ongoing maintenance on building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general property componentsMaintain lighting, irrigation systems, pools, and overall groundsSupport the overall safety, cleanliness, and functionality of the communityRepairs & Service RequestsDiagnose and complete repairs for work orders and service requestsHandle interior and exterior repairs including fixtures, appliances, and structural elementsRespond to maintenance issues promptly and effectivelyUnit Turns & Make-ReadiesPrepare apartment homes for new residents within required timelinesComplete repairs and ensure units meet company quality standardsCommunicate unit readiness with managementInventory & Shop OrganizationMaintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance shopTrack inventory and ensure adequate supplies are availableReport major repair needs prior to expendituresResident ExperienceProvide professional, courteous service to residentsCommunicate clearly with residents and managementSupport a positive and responsive communityOn-Call & Team SupportParticipate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergenciesAssist with special projects as neededWork collaboratively with maintenance and management teamsWhat success looks like:Timely completion of work orders and service requestsMake-ready units completed within established timelinesMaintains safe, clean, and organized work areasResponds effectively to emergency and on-call needsConsistently delivers high-quality repairs and workmanshipSupports overall property appearance and resident satisfactionGrow with us:This role offers a clear path within maintenance operations: Maintenance Technician I, II, III Lead Maintenance Technician Area Maintenance Supervisor Regional or Corporate RolesAdvancement is based on experience, certifications, technical competencies, performance, and business needs.What you will bring:Strong technical skills across building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical)Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficientlyStrong time management and organization skillsAttention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipCommitment to safety and compliance standardsCustomer service mindset and professionalismAbility to work independently and as part of a teamQualifications:High School Diploma or GED1–3 years of maintenance experience requiredHVAC certification preferredValid Driver's License requiredReady to build your career with a company that values stability, growth, and people?
