Overview Cardiovascular Technologist – OR CVOR Tech | Hermiston, Oregon | Start 07/20/2026 | 5 weeks | $1,533–$1,650 per week | 36 guaranteed hours | Shift: 3x12 Days | Critical Access Hospital setting. This travel assignment places you on the surgical team, supporting operative and other invasive procedures as a scrub tech. Key Highlights

Responsibilities

• Function as scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures by assembling supplies and equipment required for the procedure; prepare and organize sterile supplies and instruments; perform instrument counting with the RN circulator; assist with placement of sterile drapes; provide instruments and supplies to the surgical team; maintain an organized sterile field and ensure sterility.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport them to the decontamination areas.
• Assist with post-procedure cleaning of the operative room and prepare the room for subsequent patients.
• Participate in ongoing educational and competency verification activities applicable to scrub roles; maintain privacy and confidentiality of health information; support the hospital mission, vision, and values.
• May be floated to other departments where qualified to perform patient care before core staff is floated; perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Education: Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program.
• Certification: BLS required; Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
• Training: CRASE training required if travel assignment extends beyond a 6-month period.
• Experience: Not specified in the posting; ability to function effectively as a scrub tech in the OR and invasive procedures.
• Ability to work in a surgical setting within a travel assignment and to adapt to a high-demand, fast-paced environment.
