Job Duties

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including comprehensive physical examinations and in-depth medical history assessments
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess and diagnose surgical conditions by interpreting imaging and laboratory results
• Work closely with surgeons in developing and executing tailored surgical care strategies for patients
• Provide critical intraoperative assistance, ensuring operating rooms are ready, patients are positioned correctly, and instruments are passed safely during procedures
• Administer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which includes wound management, dispensing medications, and planning discharges while educating patients

Qualifications

• A master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preference for experience during clinical rotations with a focus on surgical procedures

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Required certifications are BLS and ACLS
• Liable to have a state license (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
