Spiritual Care/Faith Volunteer Opportunity

Location: Seattle, WA 98126
Setting: In-person visits with a participant who values connection, spirituality, and gentle companionship.
We are seeking a compassionate and grounded volunteer to provide spiritual companionship to one of our participants. She is a thoughtful and empathetic individual who communicates directly and honestly, though sometimes needs a little extra time to find the right words. She has a history of PTSD and depression and can occasionally feel overwhelmed, so a calm, patient presence is essential.
She enjoys:
- Christian spirituality and prayer
- Listening to NPR and watching TV
- Word searches and coloring
- Gentle conversation and quiet companionship
Visits may be scheduled and added to her GrandPad calendar (a user-friendly tablet she uses to stay connected).
Who Can Volunteer?
- Adults 18+ are welcome to volunteer independently.
- Youth under 18 may volunteer with a parent or guardian.
- Flexible scheduling - volunteer when it works best for you!
