The Opportunity SAMGI is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join a collaborative orthopedic trauma program in Mesa, Arizona. This position supports a high-acuity trauma center and offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced orthopedic trauma team in a well-supported, hospital-based environment.

Schedule 183 shifts annually (24-hour shifts) Blocked scheduling with 7 day stretches Built-in recovery time between rotations

Job Duties Provide operative and non-operative management of orthopedic trauma patients Participate in trauma call coverage at a high-volume trauma center Manage complex fracture care, including pelvic and acetabular injuries Collaborate with trauma, ICU, and emergency medicine teams Balance operative cases with inpatient care and follow-up clinic responsibilities

Requirements Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma Experience managing high-acuity trauma cases, including pelvic and acetabular fractures preferred Eligible for Arizona medical licensure Ability to obtain and maintain hospital privileges
