Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Creative Producer to join our team for the production of many Reelshort Mobisode Series with Elastic Heart Studio. As the Creative Producer, you will be responsible for assisting the Head of Studio in overseeing aspects of production from concept development to final delivery. This role requires strong organizational skills, creative vision, a genuine love for romance and romance in media, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Production Management:
• Assists Head of Studio in the management of all aspects of production, from pre-production to post-production, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery.
• Assists Head of Studio with casting, location scouting, and hiring of key crew members, or approving key members presented by production partners.
• Monitor the progress of production, troubleshoot issues and make necessary adjustments as required.
• Travel to help facilitate productions. This includes being on set for 12+ hours/day, sometimes on weekends.
• Manage more than one project at a time in different stages of production, including both live-action and AI.

• Creative Direction:
• Collaborate with the Head of Studio, Head of Development, Head Writer, editors, AI and live-action production teams, and screenwriters to ensure narrative cohesion, character consistency, and audience appeal across episodes.
• Make sure that the script will be interpreted appropriately to represent the company goal on the screen and to maximize audience engagement across mobile platforms.
• Assure our key scenes and moments are executed correctly on set and fit both the series and brand standard.
• Complete at least one pass of creative and production focused notes on each script assigned.
• Provide creative feedback and guidance throughout the production process to maintain artistic integrity and alignment with the series' and studio’s vision.
• Ensure that each episode maintains consistent quality and adheres to brand standards.
• Direct cover and still photoshoots with the production crew while on production set.
• Lead notes for each assigned project for post-production. This includes but is not limited to 3 rounds of notes to picture lock, 2 rounds of color/sound mix/subtitle notes, and sometimes reviewing other producers’ notes for series consistency.
• Read and familiarize with all scripts entering the production process. Work with Writers and Head of Development to troubleshoot any questions or potential issues in-script before passing along to the production crew.

• AI Creative Direction:
• Collaborate with internal production or vendor production to establish the tone and a timeline of deliverables for all AI content assigned.
• Lead notes for each assigned project for production. This includes but is not limited to 3 rounds of notes and sometimes reviewing other producers’ notes for series consistency.
• Stay informed on storytelling trends in vertical media and on the evolving capabilities of AI video tools, and bring fresh, adaptable ideas to the table.
• Occasionally contribute to story pitches, brainstorming sessions, and writers' rooms to support development pipelines.

• Team Leadership:
• Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment where team members feel motivated and empowered to excel.
• ​​Be responsive to messages over DingTalk during work hours (9:30 am - 5:30 pm PST) and during shoot times.
• Attend weekly team meetings
• Attend weekly meetings with Head of Studio and other leadership
• Attend all production and casting meetings for any assigned projects and lead the discussion on wardrobe, locations, and schedules.

• Quality Assurance:
• Maintain the overall creative vision and quality standards of Elastic Heart Studio projects.
• Review cuts, provide feedback, and work with the post team to achieve the desired final product.
• Ensure the final product adheres to technical specifications and is optimized for various distribution platforms.
• Some duties may include script coordination on set and during post.
• Work with the internal product team to conceptualize the final poster and QA each show before launch at least twice.

• Distribution and Promotion:
• Monitor audience feedback and engagement metrics to inform future production decisions and marketing efforts.

Requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience required in creative development, producing, or editorial leadership in digital media, TV, or short-form drama.
• Master's degree in film, communications, or related field preferred, but not required.
• Proven experience as a Producer in film or television production, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
• Proven experience in the romance genre in film, television, or other media.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Creative vision and the ability to provide constructive feedback to creative team members.
• Knowledge of the film and television industry, including current trends and emerging technologies.
• Ability to follow creative direction while making smart visual execution decisions.
• High acceptance of AI-assisted workflows and new technologies.
• Understanding of how visuals support attention and clarity in short-form content.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to sit at a computer and focus for extended periods of time, with breaks as needed.
• This role will require flexibility and a willingness to take on new projects on short notice.

Benefits

Compensation: This position offers the following yearly rate: $80,000 - $100,000
