Remote Medical Billing and Customer Service Representative

Job Description We are seeking experienced billing or call center representatives to represent our hospital clients’ billing office. Candidates should be reliable, consistently available Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (MST) and should have the ability to work from home or in our Aurora office. What we are seeking Experienced billing or call center representatives. Full‑time availability Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (MST). Ability to explain confusing and expensive medical bills to patients while providing empathy and elite customer service. Empathy, compassion, and a desire to help others. What to expect Consistent Monday‑through‑Friday 8:00–5:00 schedule (no weekends, evenings, or overtime). Base pay plus monthly performance bonuses averaging $100–$400+ a month ($1,200–$4,800+ annually). Base salary ranges: $37,440 – $39,520 plus monthly bonuses for those with some years of experience in medical billing and CSR experience. $41,600 plus monthly bonuses for those with high volume of years of solid retention and experience in medical billing and CSR experience. Day‑to‑day responsibilities Monday‑through‑Friday 8:00–5:00 schedule with 15‑minute morning break, 30‑minute lunch break, and 15‑minute afternoon break. Use company‑provided computer, log into internal software and client system(s) and other tools such as Microsoft Teams and reference materials to make and take inbound and outbound calls from home or Aurora office. Handle a high call volume ranging from 60–100 calls a day on average. Work virtually with teammates, supporting and helping fellow representatives. Provide outstanding customer service and collaborate with patients over the phone on affordable payment plans and take payments by phone. Use computer proficiency, organization and attention to detail to accurately document all calls in our software systems throughout each day. Continuously improve with supportive coaching, feedback from manager and team leads, and ongoing training. Job Requirements Must be a resident of Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Texas, Oklahoma, or Kansas; we cannot hire candidates residing outside of these states. High school diploma or equivalent. Network speeds with a minimum of 50 Mbps download and 15 Mbps upload. Call center experience preferred. Demonstrated history of good retention. Healthcare billing experience preferred. Prior work from home experience preferred. Basic technical savviness and ability to learn multiple Electronic Medical Records, software programs, payment portals, and call programs quickly.
