Step into an impactful role supporting preschoolers in inclusive community settings near Santa Rosa, CA. Take pride in delivering essential speech-language assessment and therapy directly within classroom environments, fostering meaningful communication skills for students aged 3-4. This is a full-time, contract opportunity beginning August 14 and continuing through June 7, with seven-hour workdays, Monday through Friday, across five different school sites. With a manageable caseload of 20-30 young learners, your expertise will help shape their foundational language and social abilities.

Ideal candidates bring experience as an SLP in school-based settings and a genuine passion for early childhood education. While Clinical Fellows may be considered, a seasoned therapist will find this position especially rewarding. Please note, this role requires travel between local preschools as therapy occurs in each classroom—flexibility and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications & Desired Background:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active California SLP licensure or eligibility by the employment start date
• Prior experience working with preschool-aged children in educational or clinical settings
• Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
• Familiarity with inclusive practices and early intervention strategies
• Personal transportation for travel between sites
• SLPA credentials not considered for this position

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct assessment and individualized therapy services to preschoolers in their community classrooms
• Collaborate closely with early childhood staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation
• Support IEP development and implementation for assigned students
• Adapt and tailor intervention strategies to meet diverse student needs in inclusive settings
