Regional HR Business Partner Lead(Bilingual) – Bigo Live Position Overview The Regional HR Business Partner Lead is a strategic HR partner responsible for partnering with business leaders to drive people strategy, organizational effectiveness, and talent initiatives across Bigo Live’s global regional operations. This role works closely with business leaders across Product, Operations, Content, Marketing, Growth, Commercial, and regional teams to support business growth through effective organization design, workforce planning, talent strategy, leadership development, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate has strong business acumen, proven experience supporting fast-growing internet or technology companies, and the ability to operate effectively in a global, multicultural, and matrixed environment. This role requires a hands-on HR leader who can balance strategic thinking with operational execution, build trusted partnerships with senior stakeholders, and deliver scalable HR solutions across different markets. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Partnership & HR Strategy Act as a strategic HR partner to regional business leaders, understanding business priorities and translating them into effective people strategies. Partner with leadership teams to support business growth, organizational scaling, and workforce optimization initiatives. Provide insights and recommendations on organizational effectiveness, talent priorities, and people-related risks. Drive alignment between global HR strategies and regional business needs. 2. Organization Development & Workforce Planning Partner with business leaders on organization design, team structure optimization, and workforce planning. Support business expansion by developing scalable workforce strategies aligned with business objectives. Analyze organizational health, identify capability gaps, and recommend solutions to improve organizational effectiveness. Support organizational planning and change initiatives to enable business scalability. Drive regional talent management processes, including performance management, talent reviews, and succession planning. Partner with leaders to identify high-potential talent and develop retention strategies. Support leadership development initiatives to strengthen management capabilities. Promote a high-performance and ownership-driven culture aligned with Bigo Live’s business goals. 4. Performance Management & Employee Engagement Lead the implementation and enhancement of performance management frameworks across regions. Coach managers on goal setting, performance conversations, and employee development. Analyze employee engagement insights and drive initiatives to improve employee experience and organizational effectiveness. Partner with leadership teams to foster an inclusive and collaborative culture across diverse markets. 5. Employee Relations & Risk Management Partner with local HR, Employee Relations, and legal teams to provide guidance on complex employee relations matters and organizational risks. Identify potential people-related risks and proactively develop mitigation plans. Ensure HR practices comply with local employment regulations while maintaining consistency with global HR standards. Support sensitive people initiatives, including organizational changes, restructuring, and employee communications. 6. Global HR Operations & Stakeholder Management Collaborate with HR COEs, SSC, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and regional HR teams to ensure effective HR delivery. Drive consistency and operational excellence across different countries and locations. Manage communication and collaboration with headquarters and global stakeholders across multiple time zones. Establish effective HR governance and processes to support business scalability. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields. 8+ years of HR experience, including significant HRBP experience supporting business teams in technology, internet, gaming, social media, or other high-growth companies. Proven experience partnering with senior business leaders and supporting HR initiatives across multiple countries or regions. Strong understanding of organizational development, talent management, workforce planning, and employee relations. Experience supporting fast-paced, global, and matrix organizations. Strong business mindset with the ability to understand business models, operational drivers, and organizational challenges. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills. Ability to operate independently, manage ambiguity, and prioritize competing business needs. Strong cross-cultural awareness and experience working with international teams. Fluent in English and Mandarin Preferred Experience (Bigo Live Specific) Experience supporting consumer internet, live streaming, social networking, gaming, or digital entertainment businesses. Understanding of global content operations, creator economy, community operations, or platform-based business models. Experience supporting business expansion and organizational growth across emerging markets.
