Junior Acquisition Information Protection Manager

Position SummaryOdyssey has an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable a Junior Acquisition Information Protection Manager (AIPM) to support all aspects of acquisition program security throughout the program life cycle. This role ensures compliance with Government directives relating to Special Access Programs (SAPs), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and collateral security requirements. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience implementing security policies derived from Executive Orders and DoD Manuals, and be capable of developing and maintaining a secure operational environment for government and contractor personnel. In addition, this role requires flexibility, as you will need to work various shifts to provide coverage for facilities over 24-hour periods, including weekends.ResponsibilitiesDuties include, but not limited to: Acquisition Program Security SupportExecute all aspects of acquisition program security throughout the program life cycle.Develop sound security practices and policies for acquisition, physical, personnel, industrial, and documentation security.Prepare acquisition security sections of program documentation and review contractor deliverables for compliance.Security Documentation & Systems SupportDevelop system security documents including: Program Protection Plans, Security Risk Analyses, OPSEC Plans, Security CONOPS, vulnerability/countermeasure analyses, and RMF-related documentation.Program Security ManagementMaintain and update databases tracking receipt, storage, inventory, and disposition of classified material.Participate in audits of government holdings to ensure accountability and compliance.Maintain visitor and clearance/access databases.Classified Information ManagementConduct inspections, inventories, logging, storage, and distribution of classified information.Provide security inspection and protection of classified storage areas and develop related procedures and policies.Support opening/closing procedures for SCIFs, SAPFs, and other secure areas.Personnel Security & TrainingReview and verify personnel qualifications for special access program eligibility.Develop and deliver security awareness and training programs.Additional DutiesSupport source selections with required security oversight.Authorized to serve as CSSR, SAP PerSec Official, OPSEC Officer, or similar roles as defined in applicable security guidance.Only AIPMs may record lock combinations; others are prohibited from doing so.Implement and apply policies derived from:E.O. 13526, 13556, 12968 (or successor policies)DoD Manuals including:DODM 5200.02 (Personnel Security)DODM 5200.01 Vol 1–3 (Information Security)DODI 5200.48 (Controlled Unclassified Information)DODM 5220.22 / NISPOMDODM 5205.07 Vol 1–4 (SAP Security)DODM 5105.21 (SCI Security)QualificationsCitizenship: Must be a US citizenMinimum Required Qualifications:Must have a current Secret clearance and be ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret ClearanceAssociate’s degree or higherLevel 1 Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Program Security Fundamentals Professional Certification must be obtained within 14 months of hire and maintained throughout employmentPreferred Qualifications:Current Top Secret clearance or higherAbility to coordinate with Government and contractor personnel to support secure program executionStrong attention to detail supporting accountability, documentation, and compliance requirementsAdditional Information:Location: Eglin AFBTravel: Travel may be required per the customer's discretion.
