Job Title: Jr Staff Accountant Location: Elma, NY Employment Type: Direct hire Industry: Real Estate Compensation: 55-65,000K, DOE Schedule: Monday-Friday 7AM to 4PM About the Opportunity The purpose of this position is to support and oversee daily accounting activities while identifying and implementing process improvements. What You'll Do Record and post daily financial transactions while maintaining accurate supporting documentation. Process vendor invoices, customer billing, and monitor outstanding balances. Contribute to monthly and annual close processes by organizing data and preparing schedules. Perform account analyses and resolve discrepancies within bank and ledger accounts. Compile financial statements and assemble materials needed for internal and external audits. Maintain adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and company procedures. Provide analytical and administrative support to senior accounting staff on special projects and reporting initiatives. What You’ll Bring Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Basic understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
