As part of the produce team, you will make important decisions about the quality of produce that members and their families eat by ensuring availability, cleanliness, and freshness. What you’ll do Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date product knowledge; collaborate with cross‑functional teams; educate associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively; develop interpersonal skills; provide customer service; and be flexible to business needs, including tracking goods, maintaining inventory, and controlling shrinkage. Be an Expert: Understand produce quality specifications (taste, preparation, seasonality); prepare products (trim, crisp, package, scale) to standards; maintain product safety and sanitation; and adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology for real‑time decisions on production, training, and product quality; adapt to new tools and encourage others. Be an Owner: Drive performance of the area; use digital tools; apply perpetual inventory management to stock and rotate products; meet quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; guide peers; and assist customers per company policies. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club; model high‑quality service and products; execute basics at the highest level; and exhibit energy, commitment, and passion. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; use the Open Door Policy. Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and partners; identify priorities; communicate progress; recommend improvement; and adapt to change.
