Projects may also occasionally be located farther north, depending on the company's project schedule.What You'll DoAs a Lead Carpenter, you will help keep projects moving and ensure work meets Villa Builders' quality standards.Perform high-quality rough and finish carpentry on residential remodeling projectsTake ownership of assigned field responsibilities and help keep projects on scheduleRead and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specificationsIdentify problems, develop solutions, and communicate issues earlyWork closely with company leadership, team members, subcontractors, and other tradesHelp prepare and maintain clean, organized, and professional job sitesCommunicate professionally and respectfully with homeownersFollow established company systems, processes, and quality standardsAccept coaching and feedback and apply it to improve your workContinue developing your technical and leadership skills as you grow with the companyWhat We're Looking ForThe right person is:A skilled carpenter with at least 5 years of professional carpentry experienceExperienced in residential remodeling, renovation, or constructionComfortable with both rough and finish carpentryDependable, responsible, and someone the team can count onComfortable working independently while knowing when to ask questionsAble to read construction drawings and solve problems in the fieldDetail-oriented and committed to quality workmanshipOpen to learning new methods and following established processesReceptive to coaching, feedback, and collaborationInterested in taking on greater responsibility and growing as a field leaderQualificationsMinimum 5 years of professional carpentry experienceResidential remodeling or renovation experience strongly preferredExperience with rough and finish carpentryAbility to read and understand construction plans and specificationsValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to perform the physical requirements of the roleStrong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skillsWhat Villa Builders Offers$35 to $40 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated capabilitiesPTO earned during the first yearMonthly health insurance contribution for employees who elect coverageCompany vanTool allowanceOpportunity to learn, develop, and grow with the companyWhy Villa Builders?This is an opportunity to join a team where your work matters.
