Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30)

Experience: Minimum of 1 year as an Adult RRT

License: State RRT Licensure

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, CA State Licensure, NBRC

Must-Have: Travel experience preferred

Description: Performs therapeutic, diagnostic, and emergency respiratory care procedures. Provides assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies or abnormalities. Exercises sound judgment and develops clinical skills to contribute to and implement the patient's plan of care based on the diagnosis and physician orders in a timely manner. Gains confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment and care. Attentively monitors and communicates effectively with patients and support groups. Involves all adult services including emergency response, code blue situations, inpatient units, and intensive care.
