Job Summary Flex between Royal Oak, Troy, Grosse Pointe, and Farmington Hills – Casual/PRN position. Must work a minimum of 72 hours in 6 weeks. Scope of Work The Respiratory Therapist Flex B agrees to float within assigned hospitals throughout Corewell Health East. This position is scheduled and reports to the Corewell Health East Flex Office located at the Corewell Health Southfield Center. Under minimal direction, the registered respiratory therapist implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to assist physicians in the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiopulmonary and related disorders; participates in the education of patients, students, staff and physicians; provides technical support for all equipment related to the practice of Respiratory Care; assists with general department functions. Qualifications Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Eligible for position after attainment of RRT NBRC status 3 years of relevant clinical experience LIC-Respiratory Therapist – STATE_MI (State of Michigan) Upon hire required CRT-Respiratory Therapist Registry – NBRC Upon hire required CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA American Heart Association or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – ARC American Red Cross Employment Details Primary Location: Corewell Health Southfield Center – 26901 Beaumont Blvd. Department: Imaging Float Pool Allied Health – Diversified East WB Mkt.
