Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a Pediatric (RT PEDS) specialty role in Saint Louis, Missouri. This position involves providing comprehensive respiratory care to pediatric patients, including operating ventilatory equipment, performing assessments, and assisting with related procedures. The respiratory therapist will evaluate patient condition, develop treatment plans, and educate patients and families upon discharge. The position requires a dedicated professional capable of working independently within clinical protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid respiratory therapy certification, completion of relevant educational programs, high school diploma or equivalent, Missouri licensure, and a minimum of 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in pediatric respiratory therapy and familiarity with advanced ventilatory equipment and procedures.
• Additional Information: The respiratory therapist will perform routine and emergent treatments, including ventilator management, chest physiotherapy, suctioning, pulmonary function testing, and emergency resuscitation following BLS and ACLS guidelines. Responsibilities include documenting all treatments and patient responses, communicating effectively with the medical team, and ensuring proper equipment maintenance and safety protocols.
