Senior Accounting Manager

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $140,000 to $160,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead month end and quarter end close activities by assigning tasks reviewing entries reconciliations and ensuring timely accurate reporting.
• Manage audit readiness by coordinating documentation supporting internal control testing and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies procedures and risk management practices while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to improve efficiency accuracy and system performance.
• Partner with leadership and cross functional teams to analyze results provide insights and support strategic decisions.

• A Bachelor degree in accounting finance or business administration.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience including time in both public accounting and industry.
• Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of accounting standards internal controls and reporting frameworks.
• Use Excel and enterprise systems confidently with advanced spreadsheet and reporting capabilities.
• Possess prior experience supervising and leading accounting professionals in a growth focused environment.

• Mentor and develop senior and staff accountants through coaching performance feedback and skill development.
• Communicate clearly with internal teams external partners and management to track progress and resolve issues.
• Manage complex organizational structures while driving alignment and accountability across departments.
• Apply strong analytical problem solving and organizational skills to large volumes of financial data.
• Show initiative sound judgment and the ability to work independently while supporting continuous improvement efforts.
