Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting for a Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant on California's Central Coast.We are seeking an experienced NP or PA to provide wound care services across Santa Barbara County, Ventura County, and San Luis Obispo County. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in wound care or a related field and is comfortable working independently in post-acute and community-based care settings. Spanish or other language skills are a plus.Position Details:Specialty: Wound CareStart Date: [Flexible Based on Availability]Contract Length: 3-6 months, with possibility of extensionSchedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMShifts: Full-time, 5x8s (No nights or weekends)Call: No call requiredPractice Setting:Nursing HomesSkilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs)Outpatient ClinicsHome VisitsWork Locations:Santa Barbara CountyVentura CountySan Luis Obispo CountyWork Details:Deliver wound care management in multiple care settingsWork independently with physician support as neededUse EMR systems for documentationTravel between sites (travel stipend or mileage reimbursement available)Requirements:Active California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licenseDEA license requiredMinimum 1 year of experience in wound care or related specialtySpanish or other language proficiency preferredReliable transportation requiredCompensation & Benefits:Pay Rate: Competitive hourly ratePayment: Weekly direct depositInsurance: Malpractice insurance providedSupport: Dedicated recruiter assistance throughout the assignmentOnboarding Process:Expedited credentialing availableAssistance with compliance and facility paperworkOrientation provided before the start dateAbout Vivo HealthStaff:Vivo HealthStaff is a locum tenens staffing firm specializing in placing healthcare professionals in temporary and long-term assignments across the United States.
