Dietary Aide Heritage Manor Care – French Park Care Center, West Covina, CA Responsibilities Follow department procedures and store all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Ensure all food in refrigerator, freezer, and dry storage are labeled and dated. Oversee proper food handling and utilization of all foods to prevent contamination, increase quality, and reduce cost. Suggest menu or recipe changes to utilize leftovers and other supplies. Clean all food service equipment, kitchen, and food storage areas. Maintain the proper temperature of food during preparation and service; record food temperatures according to established policy. Assist with setup of the tray line; assemble trays according to the planned menu, tray tickets, stated portion, resident food preferences, diet orders, and established time schedules. Assist in checking trays during service for accuracy. Salary & Hours Pay rate starting at $16/hr, DOE. Positions available on a full‑time and part‑time basis with flexible schedules and weekend availability. Requirements High school diploma or GED. 1–3 months related experience or training. Knowledge of special diets.
