Staff Accountant
Temporary Staffing Professionals
We are hiring for a great client in Irvine, CA seeking a Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with at least 2 years of experience who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced corporate environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close activities, and general accounting support functions. Responsibilities Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger activity Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed Maintain supporting schedules and accounting documentation Assist with financial reporting and internal accounting requests Work closely with the Controller and Accounting Supervisor on daily accounting operations Support audits and provide requested documentation Assist with process improvements and special projects as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience required Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities Strong understanding of general accounting principles Proficiency with Excel and accounting/ERP systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and team collaboration skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Temporary Staffing Professionals
