Staff Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to support the accounting and financial reporting functions for multiple luxury automotive dealerships. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial statements, schedule reconciliation, and compliance across a fast-paced, multi-store environment. Key Responsibilities Accounting Operations Assist with bank reconciliations and daily cash activity review. Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and monthly adjustments. Reconcile assigned balance sheet schedules, including but not limited to: inventory, receivables, payables, prepaid expense, and other operating accounts. Review schedules for accuracy, aged items, and necessary cleanup; follow up with department leaders as needed. Assist with implementation or refinement of standardized accounting practices across stores. Financial Reporting Assist with the month-end close process and preparation of balance sheet schedules. Ensure schedules are reconciled and maintained in a timely and organized manner. Identify and resolve discrepancies in coordination with the Controller. Assist with reconciliation of key operational accounts. Monitor aging reports and help resolve outstanding balances. Requirements Qualifications Accounting degree or similar experience Experience in automotive retail accounting preferred Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Excellent organizational and communication abilities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Technical Skills Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, and VLOOKUP Experience with dealership management systems such as CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Tekion, or similar is preferred Comfortable working with digital reporting tools and workflow systems #J-18808-Ljbffr Usautotrust
