PowerApps Developer

Insight Global is looking to bring on a PowerApps Developer to design and build a Project Financial Management Tool that will serve as a centralized platform for Project Managers to track and manage capital project budgets at a large utility company in Dallas, Texas. Today, their project financial data is spread across multiple systems, with PowerPlan used for budget management and MarkView used for invoice processing and storage, leaving no centralized reporting solution and creating limited visibility into overall project financial performance. As a result, the Project Managers are responsible for manually tracking invoices, project costs, forecasts, and budget information, leading to inconsistencies in reporting and financial oversight. The new PowerApps solution will consolidate this information into a user-friendly interface that allows PMs to view project financials, monitor forecasts, track costs and invoices, maintain historical records, and make more informed decisions. With said, we are seeking a developer with PowerApps and integration experience to build the production-ready application.

Required Skills & Experience
• 7-10+ years of hands-on experience developing custom applications
• 2-3+ years of experience working in PowerApps
• Experience working with backend systems and building integrations that retrieve and display data from multiple sources
• Experience working with and integrating APIs
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and iterative development practices
• Ability to act as a consultative partner, offering recommendations and guidance on solution design and implementation
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Previous experience working with PowerPlan
