Looking for a Pharmacist who is comfortable working in a rural, remote setting and wants a unique opportunity with a tribal clinic/hospital in Dilkon, Arizona. This position offers a mix of outpatient and inpatient pharmacy work, with the potential for temp-to-hire for the right fit.

Position Details

• Start: Sooner than later
• Duration: 13 weeks+ (possible temp to hire)
• Setting: Tribal clinic/hospital
• Hospital: 10-bed facility
• Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts per week
• Weekends: Every other weekend
• On-Call: Rotating on-call
• Schedule: Shifts may not be consecutive, so flexibility is important
• License: Arizona Pharmacist license is NOT required
• System: RPMS, a proprietary system commonly used in IHS facilities

What You'll Do

• Provide pharmacy services in both outpatient and inpatient settings
• Support the newly opened 10-bed hospital
• Handle primarily outpatient pharmacy responsibilities
• Assist with inpatient pharmacy needs as required
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, challenging environment

What We're Looking For

• Pharmacist license in good standing; AZ license not required
• Experience in a hospital setting
• Inpatient, infusion, or long-term care experience required
• Tribal or IHS experience highly preferred
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Able to remain calm and effective under pressure
• Comfortable working in a rural/remote environment
• Flexible with scheduling and on-call responsibilities

Important Location & Housing Details

• Dilkon is approximately 30 miles outside of Winslow, AZ
• This is a very remote area
• Reliable transportation/car is required — there are no Uber services in the area
• On-site hospital housing is often unavailable
• Pharmacists should be prepared to stay in a hotel or short-term rental in Winslow
