A manufacturing company in Itasca, IL is seeking experienced Machine Operators to set up and operate manual lathes, ensure product quality, and support production operations.
- Monday – Thursday: 5:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Friday: 5:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Pay Rate: $19.00 – $21.00/hour
Responsibilities- Set up and operate manual lathes
- Measure and inspect products using calipers and micrometers
- Follow all manufacturing standards and safety procedures
- Read and follow SOPs and work instructions
- Use hoists and cranes to safely move materials and components
- Communicate effectively with team members to support workflow
- Maintain a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach throughout the shift
- Frequent squatting and use of both hands for detailed work
- Ability to see details at both close and far distances
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally
- Steel-toe shoes required
- Experience operating a sit-down forklift required
