Industrial Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift Compensation: $30 - $33 hourly Shift Details: Overnight (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM) on a rotating schedule Your Impact Our Milwaukee manufacturing plant is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to bolster our night shift operations. You will focus on the repair, upkeep, and troubleshooting of diverse industrial systems, while actively contributing to production stability through proactive maintenance tasks and ongoing process enhancements. Key Duties Identify and resolve malfunctions across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and facility systems. Execute routine preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity of manufacturing machinery and plant infrastructure. Minimize production interruptions by effectively troubleshooting and repairing equipment failures. Utilize technical manuals, electrical schematics, and mechanical blueprints to guide repair work. Ensure maintenance records are precise by logging all completed work orders within the CMMS platform. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area for the entire team. Adhere to all organizational safety protocols, specifically those regarding Lockout/Tagout procedures. Collaborate with production and maintenance staff to enhance overall equipment reliability. Promptly communicate any equipment malfunctions or safety risks to management. Required Qualifications At least 5 years of professional experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing setting. Possession of a GED or high school diploma. Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting across various maintenance technical areas. Proven expertise in at least three of these disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Welding, or HVAC. Familiarity with operating and documenting tasks in a CMMS. Ability to collaborate effectively with others or work autonomously. Must supply your own set of essential hand tools. Capacity to lift weights up to 90 lbs. Readiness to undergo necessary training for safety and equipment operation, such as aerial lifts, forklifts, and LOTO protocols. A rotating roster that provides every other weekend off.
