Pay: Competitive – Based on Experience
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician with a strong mechanical background to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and production equipment. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys diagnosing equipment problems and keeping production running.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial machinery and production equipment
- Perform hydraulic and pneumatic repairs
- Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues
- Repair motors, pumps, bearings, belts, chains, conveyors, gearboxes, and other machine components
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance
- Diagnose equipment breakdowns and complete repairs quickly to minimize downtime
- Replace worn or damaged machine parts
- Read mechanical diagrams, schematics, and equipment manuals
- Perform equipment adjustments, installations, and changeovers
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
- Follow all safety and lockout/tagout procedures
Qualifications
- Previous industrial maintenance or machine repair experience required
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Knowledge of motors, pumps, bearings, conveyors, gearboxes, and production machinery
- Basic electrical troubleshooting experience preferred
- Welding/fabrication experience is a plus
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Able to work independently and troubleshoot problems from start to finish
- Manufacturing, foundry, machining, or heavy industrial experience is a plus
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined and experienced in fixing machines , not just performing building or facility maintenance. You should be comfortable getting hands-on with equipment, finding the cause of a breakdown, and making the necessary repairs.
