Speech Pathology - New Orleans, LA

Step into a rewarding school-based Speech-Language Pathology opportunity in the vibrant New Orleans area. The assignment runs from August 7, 2026, through May 27, 2027, following the local academic calendar. Enjoy a consistent Monday-Friday full-time schedule, with 35 hours weekly and a predictable routine designed for work-life balance. Specific school assignments and caseload details will be determined based on district needs.


Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active state SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous school-based SLP experience appreciated
• Ability to successfully complete required drug screening and fingerprinting for district and agency credentialing

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations, therapy, and consultation for students with diverse needs
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain detailed, compliant documentation
• Engage with parents, teachers, and staff to ensure student progress
• Adapt services and materials to support varying age groups and educational settings
