Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students in the New Orleans area as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. You’ll collaborate with educators and families to help children succeed, working Monday through Friday, 7 hours per day (plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch), in alignment with the school calendar. The specific number of schools and caseload details will be confirmed, offering you the chance to flex your skills in a dynamic educational environment.

Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Eligible for, or holding, active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred
Experience or prior placements in schools or pediatric settings is an advantage

Role Highlights:

Deliver onsite speech-language therapy to students (ages and caseload to be determined)
Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in collaboration with school teams
Complete thorough documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
Communicate clearly with educators, families, and support staff for optimal student progress
Comply with all district and agency protocols, including successful completion of drug screening and fingerprinting prior to start
