Requisition Summary Kenworth, a division of PACCAR, is seeking a highly motivated Talent Acquisition Intern to join our Human Resources team for Fall 2026 in Kirkland, WA. This role is ideal for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in recruiting and talent acquisition. This internship offers valuable learning opportunities, including:
- Learning directly from experienced recruiting and HR professionals
- Gaining exposure to full-cycle recruiting processes
- Building relationships with HR and business leaders
- Developing practical, hands-on talent acquisition experience
- Expanding your professional network
- Partner with Hiring Managers to manage full-cycle recruiting activities.
- Own job requisition creation, updates, and closures within the applicant tracking system.
- Source and attract external and internal candidates using tools such as SAP SuccessFactors and LinkedIn.
- Review and evaluate resumes, conduct initial candidate outreach, and assess alignment with role requirements.
- Coordinate and manage interview processes, including scheduling and logistics for phone screens and onsite interviews.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for communication between Hiring Managers, Candidates, and HR stakeholders.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to build diverse and high-quality talent pipelines.
- Draft and post job descriptions.
- Support candidate onboarding and partner with HR to ensure a smooth new hire experience.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate data within SuccessFactors.
- Represent the company at recruiting events, including career fairs, networking events, and campus outreach initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement in recruiting processes, tools, and candidate experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
