Post Doctoral Scholar- Cardiovascular Medicine

About the Position The Reventun lab is seeking an enthusiastic Postdoctoral Scholar to examine the role of genetic variants in endothelial cells in the progression of venous thromboembolism. The postdoctoral researcher will receive specialized training, education, and experience under the guidance of Dr. Reventun. Responsibilities Plan, design, and execute experiments of considerable scope and complexity. Collect and analyze data. Identify and select research problems to be studied. Develop and troubleshoot new experimental techniques and protocols. Attend research seminars. Contribute to manuscript preparation and support technical writing. Participate in the preparation of grant applications for extramural funding. Minimum Qualifications Ph.D. in a biological or health sciences field. Preferred Qualifications Strong research and data analysis skills. Exceptional communication abilities. Commitment to ethical research and diversity. Experience in animal studies, molecular biology techniques, and cell signaling pathways. Prior training in the cardiovascular disease field. Background in biochemistry, cellular and molecular biology, and genetics. Scientific publication record. Additional Requirements Successful completion of a background check is required.
